The Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Examination or HSEE is a national level entrance test conducted every year by Indian Institute of Technology Madras for admission to the master programme offered by the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) of the Institute. The five-year master programme offered by the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) of the Institute for the admission are Integrated M.A. in Development Studies and Integrated M.A. in English Studies. Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Examination is an online computer based exam. There are some eligibility criteria for appearing in Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Examination like Candidates applying for HSEE 2019 must have passed their 12th standard from the recognized university.
